This comic was a Revelation to me when I read it.

And as funny as it was, it was equally moving. I had to stop reading at parts to wipe the tears from my eyes. Top Ten - This is one of the only comics that actually made me laugh out loud. He recreated himself after this and though his work was great afterward, it didn't have the vitality of his early work. Watchmen - For me this series is his swan song or farewell to this era of his work. V For Vendetta - Like Miracleman and Swamp Thing, it's just an amazing read full of great moments and revelations. Some of the arcs are less than steller and that's way it is placed 2nd to Miracleman.

Unfortunately I don't think it's consistent all the way through. Moore's second issue, #21, I consider my favorite single issue, and some of the arcs are stunning. Swamp Thing - This was the series that got me started on Moore and some of his favorite works are in this series. Every book in this series was as "Holey Shit!" moment for me. Miracleman - Especially the early Warrior episodes were full of amazing action and amazing revelation in every issue. I have to say that my top ten Moore stories are not based so much on craft but rather on sentiment and what they did and do mean to me.
